Let's get right into it ...
What you will need and the colors I chose:

Clear polish as a base coat

L'oreal: Caught red-handed (470)

Maybelline: Gold accessory (105)

Gems (These are the one you would put on your phone)

Twizzers (To place the gems)

And now follow the steps ...

Paint your nails red (Don't forget your base coat)

Make a V shape french manicure with the gold

Put the gems on the ring finger

Tip: Add clear polish before and after you place de gems for extra hold.

Review: Rimmel London Sexy Curve mascara

This review will be about the Rimmel London Sexy Curves mascara ... like the title says! To describe it a little bit this mascara comes in a purple tube. The brush is in rubber and is more on the smaller side. The brush itself has curves, it's almost like there is small balls connected to one another. The one I took is in the color extreme black (003) and as always I don't have the waterproof version. As for the smell, I think it has a bit of a stronger smell than the other mascaras I ever smelled.

 

After I saw all the rave that was going on YouTube about this mascara I wanted to test it for myself. I have been using this mascara for a couple of months and let me tell you I have mix feelings about this one. It's more like a love and hate relationship. It gave my lashes volume and also it made them curl like hell. It doesn't give any lenght. I never noticed any flakes under my eyes and it didn't make my lashes hard or anything. When it come to the application of the mascara the small brush makes it really easy. You can really get in and get those small lashes. The downside to all this is that the formula is wet so when it curls my lashes I always have some mascara on my lids. I didn't really like using it for my bottom lashes because it's so wet. I would only put a tiny bit so it didn't look like I was crying.

The brand claims the mascara is:

• Lash plumping, full curve mascara.
• Enriched with proteins, the plumping formula strenghtens lashes over time for a continuous lash boosting effect.
• Rich cream texture instantly amplifies your natural volume 7 times and fixes the curl for 12 hour hold.
• Gives fabulously fuller lashes
• Flaunt your curves. (Source)

Does it meets the brand claims? For the most part it does. Is it lash plumping and is it a full curve mascara? Yes it is. Does it gives fabulously fuller lashes? Yes, it does. The part where I don't want to agree with the brand claims is when they talk about the formula being enriched with proteins and blablabla and the fact that they give numbers about how long your curl will hold and up to how many time your volume will look more amplified. I feel like I can't even test this kind of claims. I don't know if those proteins really made my lashes stronger and 7 times more volume how do I mesure 7 times?

 

The only downside to all this would be the formula. It's too wet once you open it. It doesn't dry really quikly so you have to be carefull once you have applied your mascara. It's a bit too messy for me but it gets better over time. When it starts to be a  bit more dried out that's when I enjoyed it more.

Personally, I don't really like it. It's not what I'm looking for. I didn't like the way it curl my lashes. It was just too much but I'm sure some of you will like that effect. And on top of all that I never applied 3 coats because it began to be too clumpy and my lashes would stuck together too much.

OOTD #1

This is my first outfit of the day (OOTD). It took me a while to post one of these because I just couldn't find a nice place to take the pictures. I found a place. I have to say I'm not totally happy with it but it will be fine for now. I really hope you guys like it.

Nail art #4 (Swag Girl)

This will be another nail art I did step by step to show you guys. I didn't really put a lot of thought into this one I just wanted something with the colors black and gold. So I'm just going to get right into it.

First, here are the colors I chose. The black one is by Revlon and it's called Blackest Black and the Gold is by Maybelline from the Express Finish line and it's called Gold accessory (105). Seriously, any black and gold color will do. You don't even have to choose those colors. I only wanted these because as you guys know this is my favorite color combination.

To start the nail art, you are going to paint all of your nails black except for the ring finger. The ring finger is going to be white and it should look like this:

After this you are going to write SWAG and GIRL on your nails in the color gold. You can use a bobbypin to write the letters or a toothpic or even an old eyeliner brush. I did add some gold spots on the ring finger because we are going to do a cheetah print on it. Don't mind the thumb I starrted something but in the en I didn't like it so I ended up just putting a gold stripe.

This should be the end result.

Shopping 07/08/12-07/09/12

I went shopping with my sisters on the weekend so it's pretty much a regular weekend for me. For the last couple of weeks, I try to stay away from things since I need to save money right now. But the things I found I couldn't stay away from, I just had to get them.

So as you can see I robbed all of the Aldo stores near where I live but I didn't get that much to be fair. But first I went to La Senza Lingerie, now now now I'm not going to show you guys what I bought. I just thought I would let you know that they are still having their semi-annual sale. It will be up for another week and their prices really went down from the first week when I first went. The first time I went I bought 3 bras and it costs me around 30,00$ and sunday when I went I bought 2 bras and 4 panties and it costs me around 30,00$ also.

Then I went to Aldo and came across the perfect purse for me. It's black and gold of course. I mean just look at it. Now the purse is 55,00$. It's not that expansive but when you have to save money everything is. It's pretty new too because when I went back today they still had a full display for it.

Then I went to Aldo Accessories because I really needed some sunglasses. They have a big sale going on also and a lot of their accessories are 50% off the red tag or they also have the 2 for 1 on some of their jewleries. The two pairs I bought are aviators. The first ones, I bought just because I needed to replace the ones I bought from Forever21 since they are so cheap made. The second pair I took because they were 2 for 20,00$ but also because they looked nice on me and I really like the detail on the sides.

1- Do you have a middle name?

No, I don't have a middle name.

2- Favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject would have to be history, but only the history of the other countries. I would like to travel around the world and I think that's why. The only thing is I think that if you have a good teacher it makes it really easy to like a subject. Well that's my opinion.

3- Favorite drink?

My favorite alcohol drink would have to be an amaretto sour. I love sour candies so I think that's why. I just love the sweetness of the amaretto and the sourness (is that even a word !! ) of the lemon. I really like iced tea too not the long island one just the regular lol.

4- Favorite song at the moment?

My favorite song right now is ''Beat it'' by Michael Jackson. I don't really know why it's just a good song. I think it's because I've been hearing it a lot on the radio lately. The anniversary of his death was last week so you know why.

5- What would you name your kids?

I have no idea. I'm not really thinking about that right now. Sometimes I think of names but just like that. I don't keep a note pad with all the names because anyways the names that I will choose would have to go with their lastnames so.

6- Do you participate in any sports?

No I don't but I wish. I use to love hockey in highschool. I actually wish I could find some girls who would want to play for fun once a week.

7- Favorite book?

I don't have a favorite book. I really don't. For me a favorite would have to be a book that I would read over and over but I didn't find it yet. I did read " Leila Mariée de force" a lot. It doesn't have an autor since it's an autobiography and she didn't want anyone to know it was her.

8- Favorite color?

My favorite color is green. I never wear green but I love it lol. And my favorite color combination is black and gold.

9- Favorite animal?

My favorite animal is the tiger.

10- Favorite perfume?

I don't really wear any perfume so I don't have one. Right now, I'm loving the Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs but that's it.

11- Favorite holiday?

My favorite holiday is christmas yess but not because of the gifts. I never get anything anyways. It's just because I like to be with my family cracking joke it's always fun. And yeah because of the food too.

12- Have you graduated highschool?

Yes I did.

13- Have you ever been out of the country? If so how many times?

Yes, I've been to the states and to Haiti when I was about 3 or 4 and I don't remember anything.

14- Do you speak any other languages?

Besides French and English I only understand Creole but I don't really speak the language. I mean I could if I paid attention a little more but I think that I'm too lazy to keep a conversation.

15- How many siblings do you have?

I have 3 sisters and 1 brother yeah that's enough.

16- Favorite store?

I think it's Sirens because I always find something that I like. Even when I'm not looking for anything specific.

17- Favorite restaurant?

My favorite restaurant right now is ''L'avenue'' it's a place in montreal at mount-royal. If you guys ever come to montreal you have to go it's really goooooood. The only downside is that there's always a lineup.

18- Do you like school?

I do.

My favorite movie is ''GOODFELLAS''. So good!

20- Favorite TVshow?

My favorite TVshow of all time is ''Friends''. I mean I watch all the reruns. If I could pick another one it would be ''Seinfeld''.

I never owned a MAC so I can't really answer that one.

22- What kind of phone do you have?

I have an Iphone 4Gs I finally changed my phone. Didn't think I would like it because I was so used to my blackberry but I have to say I'm addicted to my phone!

I'm 5 foot 9. YEAH! I have long legs.
