My favorite products/fashion items for summer.

This post will be about all of those products and fashion items I take out of my closets during summer time. It's just not summer without them. Now some of them I use even if it's the middle of winter but some of them I saddly have to put back in place once the cold weather starts to show up.

For my first product, I chose one of my perfumes. Its the perfume by Marc Jacobs the Daisy Eau so Fresh. So let me tell you something, it is one of the best smelling perfumes I have ever now ever smelled in my life yet. It just smells like summer to me. I only have a sample from Sephora but I am going to buy the full bottle soon. It's floral, fresh, like candies just everything I like in a perfume. If you didn't have a chance to smell it yet just go, drop that post and go it's worth it. You will finish to reading later. Don't worry about it!
For my second product well products are nail polishes. For summer, I go for really bright colors. Now I do wear bright colors during winter but not as often. The bright colors I go for are mostly pink colors but I do a lot of patherns and nail arts too. Some of the colors I go for a lot are Posh Pink (330) by Rimmel in the Lasting Finish Pro collection, the Sunset Prisms (330) by Maybelline from the Express Finish collection and the Mango-Get-em (410) from L'oreal Paris. Now, I know I just bought the last two but I already used them twice since summer started.
Next I like to use an exfoliator ... wait wait wait let me start over I always use exfoliators for my face but during summer I reach for it more often because I have oily skin and I just feel so fresh after I use it. I don't use it that often during winter maybe just once a week. For summer, I find myself reaching for it two to three time a week. The one I go for is the St-Ives Abricot exfoliator. I like it. It make my skin smooth I mean I think any will do I just like using one during summer.
As for fashion items. I like to wear a pair of sandals I bought a while back at Sirens. They are black and gold my favorite color combination and they are so comfortable. They just go with everything so everytime I don't know what to wear I just go for these. At first, I was worried about the quality of their shoes but I had them for at least three years now and they are still going strong.
Next, I have a bright blue purse with gold chains as handles. Now this one I only get out for summer because it's so bright. I bought it at Winners about 3 years ago I think and it doesn't even have a brand name. I almost fainted when I saw it. I still remember that day. The only downside to this one is that I can't wear it all the time because it doesn't go with everything.
For my last fashion item, I chose two pairs of sunglasses. The first one are aviators wich you can find anywhere really. The one I have are from Forever 21 but I kind of regret buying them from there because they are not really strong but I love the style so much. I really like the ones that are like mirrors. I'm sure you guys know what I'm trying to say. The second pair I really like are the ones I bought when I went to New York last summer. They are from the Jersey Shore Collection. They are from NYS. They are retro and have these diamonds and a gold frame arround the diamonds. I don't like wearing them too often because they make a statement on their own but I love them so much.

This summer just be bright. Find a comfortable pair of sandals for those long walks, a nice bright purse that will make turn heads and a pair of sunglasses to make a statement on their own.

Nail Art #3 ( Cheetah )

This is the first nail art I am going to show you how to do step by step. It is a one of many cheetah prints you probably already saw.

First, you should apply a base coat on all your nails. The base coat helps when it comes to removing the nail polish and also your nails won't become yellow or have residue from the color you were wearing. For my base coat, I only use a regular clear nail polish because I think it work as good as a nail polish that says "base coat" on the bottle. The one I use is by Sally Hansen from the Xtreme wear collection it is called invisible (100).

Second, I chose white for all my nails except the ring finger. For the ring finger, I chose a pink peach color called Mango-Get-Em (410) from L'oreal Paris. Here are the bottles of the nail polishes and your nails should look like this.

Third, you want to get all the different colors you have in your collection ( Just think about the rainbow) and make random spots all over your nails. Only put the spots on the white nails. Here are the colors I chose and your nails should look like this.

For the last step you will need a black nail polish and a toothpick. So first you might want to put some nail polish on a piece of paper. Take the toothpick and put it in the polish and put some random lines around the spots of colors. You can also add some random black spots to add to the effect of the cheetah print. The end result should look like this.

Feel free to add something to the ring finger to make it more you, like some gems or just do all the nails in the print. You can also do the opposite and paint all of your nails pink and do ring finger in the cheetah print. It is totally up to you this is only to give you ideas. Hope you guys injoyed it. Review: Covergirl Lashblast Fusion

I will be reviewing the Covergirl Lashblast Fusion mascara. When it comes to the product itself it's one of those mascara where the brush comes seperated from the tube once you purchase it. This version of the Covergirl Lashblast comes in a purple tube. The wand is in rubber and it is big. The one I purchased is in the color very black and it is not the waterproof version. The smell seriously? Well it smells like a regular mascara.

I have been using this mascara for about a year and a half now (you can get an idea of how the review is going to be now) so let me share my experience with you. But first I should describe to you what kind of lashes I have. They are pretty long and curved that's why I almost never curl my lashes. They are also not super full I guess I would say they are normal when it comes to that point. The Covergirl LashBlast Fusion makes my lashes look so natural. It gives volume but it doesn't lenghtens my lashes. I never noticed the mascara flaking on me or any flakes under my eyes unless I rubbed my eyes but who does that when they are wearing eye makeup o_o. It is not the blackest black now remember my mascara is in very black and I don't really see a difference compared to the black version. It is black but not that much if you know what I mean. When I apply the product it is not too hard even if the brush is pretty big but you might get some product on your lids like I did so many times. On the good side it doesn't make your lashes hard once it's dry. It never clumped on me. It is so nice that whenever I used another mascara for my top lashes I would always use this one for my bottom lashes because it gived the most natural looking volume.

The Brand claims to be
the first to combine volume + lenght and the fiberstrech formula and oversized brush makes every little lash bigger, fuller, longer-looking and more dramatic compared to bare lashes. (source)
The LashBlast Fusion does give volume but it doesn't give any lenght. I can see my tiny lashes getting bigger and fuller but not longer. Now of course it's going to make a difference compared to your bare lashes but is it really dramatic? No, I would say it gives a nice natural look to your lashes while giving a nice volume to them. It only looks dramatic when you put 3 coats or more of the mascara.

I did make some observations. I never buy waterproof mascara because I don't necessarly see the point. I know some of you like it because it hold your curl better and if you cry you are not going to look like a raccoon. I never had any problem with my version. My natural curl is always on and when it would rain so much that my clothes would be wet to the bone my mascara would stay in place. I also never had to reapply mascara because it would transfer somewhere and I think the fact that the formula is not a wet one really helps.

Bare Lashes

1 coat

 2 coats

3 coats
I feel like it is the exact same mascara as the original lashblast in the orange tube since it doesn't lenghtens my lashes but only gives volume. The formula is the same such as the brush so it basically does the same thing. I don't know if it was a plubicity stunt since the original LashBlast sold so well but it looked like it.

Price: 5 / 5  (Never had to wait until it was on sale before repurchasing it)
Product: 4 / 5 (Didn't lenghtens like it claimed)
Overall: 9/10

Shopping Haul 06/18/12

I went to Forever 21 on Monday because I just wanted to really. I don't need a reason. LOL. I just got the app from them and saw some earings I thought were cute, but when I got there they were way too big. I looked for something else instead because I still wanted new earings. So I looked, looked and looked ( they have so many ) and finally got some silver bow earings. They have little cristals look a like on. They are small almost like studs. They were only 3,80$.

Shopping 06/06/12

I went shopping to Sirens again. It was after a half day at work. At first I just wanted to look because I didn't want to go back home right away. I stopped there and found two dresses I've been eyeing for a while and on top of that they were on sale.

The first dress is black. The material is almost like silk. It's abviously not but has that feel to it. It has a sweet heart neckline, has pockets and comes to just above my knees. It has some kind of a horizontal lining right under the bust that accentuates your curves. It was only 10,00$.

The second dress so pretty as well. The top part is almost like a off white cream color and the bottom part is kaki. The top part also has a sweet heart neckline. The bottom part has ruffles so it's not completely straight. It's pretty short, the skirt part lands right where my butt ends. It also came with the black belt. It's pretty simply so I'll probably change it with one of my own. This dress was 15,00$ and was originally 25,00$.

You guys should defenitely let me know if you want to see how the clothes look like on.
