This review will be about the l'Oréal Voluminous Million Lashes. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about I will describe it a little bit. This mascara comes in a gold tube. The brush is in rubber like most of the mascara sold right now. It is pretty normal when it comes to the size. It's not too big, not too small. The brush is very flexible. It's almost like their is two parts to it. As usual, I took the darkest color available wich is carbon black and it is the non waterproof version. As for the scent, it doesn't have a strong smell or anything.
I've been using this mascara for about three months now. Let me tell you right now, I really like this one. It gives volume, it lenghtens, all the best. It really separates your lashes really well defines them and gives a nice thickness. It's also nice for your bottom lashes, it really defines them. Even if I didn't really see a difference between the black and the carbon black, it's a nice dark black color but maybe that's only because I'm so used to getting the darkest color available. The mascara doesn't flake, I never noticed flakes under my eyes. Never smudge or anything like that. When it comes to the formula of the Voluminous Million Lashes mascara, it is wet but it dries really fast and my lashes are not hard after it is set on my lashes. However, it doesn't curl lashes. I'm only saying it for those of you who are looking for that in a mascara, but personnaly it doesn't botter me.
The brand claims the mascara is:
- For lashes that look a million times multiplied and perfectly defined, there's only one mascara New Voluminous Million Lashes.
- The built-in Clean Sweep Wiping System wipes the brush free of clumps leaving the perfect amount of mascara for an ultra-voluminized clean lash look.
- The millionizing brush evenly thickens lashes from root to tip.
- The result? Lashes look so multiplied, so clean, it's like seeing millions. (source)
Does it meet the brand claims? Did it multiplied and defined my lashes? Yes and no. Mostly no, it did coat my tiny lashes I didn't know I had so it looked like I had more lashes. Did it volumized my lashes? Defenitely yes. My lashes look thicker more healthy. It gives your lashes a natural look with that extra something. Does it leaves the perfect amount of mascara on your lashes? Yes, yes and yes. No clumps what so ever.
Like I said, the formula is very nice. The mascara didn't weight down my lashes. You know that feeling when you feel like you just washed your face. The fact that the brush is very flexible doesn't change a thing. It really doesn't make a difference. And I like the fact that you can easily coat the tiny little lashes in the corner of the eyes without making a big mess.
